Well, it’s been a few days since I last posted….life is just rushing by at the moment and there is little time for making cards.  Hope to get back in the swing of things next week.

I’ve made this card for the challenge over at Cute Card Thursday.  The theme this week is ‘In the water’.  I used my Jan and Sweet Pea stamp from alota Rubber Stamps, really fun to use and a perfect image that could have many uses….especially for men!

Image is coloured with copics, glitter added to snow, clouds, wings and lake, brads and photo corner from stash.  Thanks for taking the time to stop by!

Party time…well, I know it isn’t a celebration type card, but the theme this week at Tilda & Co is ‘Hands’…….you need to pop over for more details on the challenge!  I just thought that the ‘time’ wording went with the clock stamp!  When I’d finished the card, I realised that I had covered up a section of the hands on the clock with a star……oops!  I also stamped the clock on the large gold brad, though it doesn’t show too well.

I followed one of Claudia’s sketches for the card and I also used one of the stamped images that she kindly sent to me.  Edwin has been coloured with copics, sentiment stamp - scrappy cat, papermania paper and Magnolia stars.  Thanks for stopping by!

Friday already and time for Friday Sketchers.  This week, it’s my turn to host the sketch.  It’s a nice and easy one for you to try…….I’m finding the school holiday is causing serious problems with my card making time, so nothing complicated for me at the moment! 

I’ve used some more of the new Magnolia collection…and I think this Tilda is just so sweet!  Both Tilda and the books have been cut out and Tilda has been adhered with 3d tape.  Sentiment stamp is by Stamping Bella.  Papers are Daisy D’s, colouring done with copics and bling brads a gift from Claudia.

Well, I finally had time to make a card with my new Magnolia collection.  Tilda and her new accessories are just adorable, I love them all!  I’ve made this card for the challenge over at Cute Card Thursday…the theme this week is bright colours…….I think my papers pass for bright! 

I used a sketch of Claudia’s from Friday Sketchers and it works great with  what I wanted to use.  Papers are K&Co, all colouring done with copics, flowers, brad and ribbon from stash.  A quick post today, got lots of catching up to do!  Thanks for looking!

I had some time yesterday afternoon to make some cards and I couldn’t wait to use this car stamp that I had ordered from alota Rubber Stamps…it’s called Cool Car and I knew when I saw it that Tough Edwin would look super cool with it….I think they are a perfect match!  The car is a great size and works perfectly with Magnolia stamps, as do a lot of the alota stamps.  Helene has added some new stamps, Ciao Marker sets and Atyou Spica Pens to her web site…you need to go and check them out!

Both images have been coloured with copics, paper from 3 bugs in a rug and sentiment stamp is from a clear woodware set.  T-Bird number plate created with Doodlebug rub ons.  Thanks so much for looking and for all the lovely comments that you leave me…..hope you have a relaxing Sunday!

I’ve been having a play with some alota Rubber Stamps…these two cuties are from the DT set that Helene kindly sent to me.  They are called Kids (umnounted) and the code is X-009.  There are several more cute kids on the sheet…all so gorgeous!  I had a lovely surprise package from Helene yesterday and I can’t wait to start making some cards with the new stamps……they are so sweet!

I have roughly followed a fabulous sketch from Bea (Megastamper), though I turned it to fit my image.  Check Bea’s blog for more inspiration and to see the sketch that I used.  The background image is a Magnolia stamp and the cute kids have been cut out, coloured with copics and adhered with 3d tape.  Sentiment is from Stamping Bella and has been cut out with a SU word window punch. 

On a personal note, I’ve had an invitation from Caroline at Raspberry Ribbons to join their Sketches Design Team…….of course I was over the moon and delighted to accept her invitation!  The sketches are every two weeks…..pop over to Raspberry Ribbons to join in the fun sketches.  Thanks for looking and enjoy your day!

Hi…it’s time for Friday Sketchers again…just where has that week gone?!  The wonderful sketch this week is hosted by Mumur (Le blog de Scraomumur)  from France.  Well done Mumur…thanks for another great challenge my friend!

I really wanted to use one of my Tilda’s for this card and I also wanted to use her handbag.  I’ve used a Magnolia background stamp and mounted Tilda over it with 3d tape.  The handbags were cut out and I cut off the handles (too fiddly to cut out) and then cut of the bow that was on the handle and stuck it onto the bag.  As I was making this card, I received a wonderful parcel from my dear friend Claudia and in it, amongst lots of gorgeous things,  were some matching brads for the paper that I was using…how spooky…I’ve attatched them to the tag and the flower…thanks so much Claudia…I love them!  Paper is by Cloud 9…bright and sunny…just like the weather here today.  Soon be time for autumn colour papers!  Tilda and background coloured with copics, sentiment computer generated and puched out with a SU tag punch.

I had hoped to post this card yesterday but things just didn’t work out….a little thing called the summer holidays got in the way!

I followed the fortnightly sketch over on Raspberry Ribbons Kits and Sketches for this  card.  The flower and organza ribbon are from this months kit, which has just arrived and has the most gorgeous selection of ribbons and embellishments.

Tilda has been stamped, cut out and coloured with copics.  I got a little carried away with the stardust glitter and it was a case of more is more this time!  It doesn’t show up too well in the photo, but IRL it really sparkles and looks pretty!  Flowers and chipboard sentiment from stash.  Thanks for looking and have a great day!
