Quixotic Challenges is back to day with a new challenge…’Monochromatic’…

Definition of monochromatic: Consisting of only a single color or hue; may include its tints and shades

Note: when using character stamps, skintones are allowable in addition to the monochromatic colour scheme

Quixotic Challenges…Altered Anya & Friends…

 Hello…we have a great new theme for you over at Quixotic Challenges.  We’d like to see you make cards/projects by altering your Greeting Farm images!  Yes..swap heads, bodies, accessories…anything you like as long as it’s a stamp from TGF.  To create my ‘swapped image’, I inked up Reeta from the Wild Sprouts collection…

…covered her head with scotch tape and then stamped her onto  cardstock.  I then inked up Megan, again, from the Wild Sprouts collection and also stamped her onto a piece of carstock.  I cut out her head and adhered it to Reeta’s body…easy!  The possibilities are endless….you sure are going to have great fun with this challenge.

There are some special rules, just for this challenge, so please read the instructions carefully on the post at Quixotic Challenges.  You’ve also got two weeks to complete your project  

I’ve used some yummy new Pink Plum by Crate papers …and the gorgeous orange and pearl beads and spacers that I’ve  used on my pin have also just arrived at Quixotic Paperie.  Check out the New Products…the brand new CC Designs stamps have just landed too!

I was very lucky to receive a fabulous DT package from Elaine (Quixotic Paperie) last week.  Amongst the beautiful stamps and embellishments was this very sweet stamp from CC Designs…Darcy and Bumbles (Bumbles is a bee stamp that’s included)  Thanks to Elaine for the lovely butterfly…which happens to be available at QP…there’s lots of colours to choose from!

Quixotic Challenges – I believe in fairies…

Quixotic Challenges…

There’s another new challenge over at Quixotic Challenges today.  Kim has chosen the theme…’use something old, or something that you haven’t used for a while’…thanks  Kim!   I love this fairy from CC Designs…she’s one of two beautiful stamps in the set…there’s also some ‘fairy’ nice sentiments included too.  She’s not that old, but with the speed that new stamps keep coming out, you could class her as one of the ‘older’ Swiss Pixies…LOL!

Well, I finally made it…I’m a bit late with my Quixotic Challenges card, just that time of year I guess!  Our challenge for you this week is to use lace somewhere on your card/project.  I’ve used some of the yummy lace that Elaine has over at Quixotic Paperie…along with the pearls, Basic Grey Nook and Pantry paper and Me Time Miss Anya.  Oh…and the new Miss Anya Love set is now in stock at Quixotic Paperie…yesssssss…just love them all!
