Friday Sketchers…

Well, finally I managed to upload a card!  It’s always the same when the schools are closed, you think you’re going to have more time for everything and watch the clock less, but it never works out like that!  Hopefully, I’ll get more time over the holiday weekend to play with my beautiful new Magnolia stamps which I got from Magnolia-licious…along with cute Tilda playing violin   A big thanks to Marlene and Sonia for doing some Magnolia shopping for me last week at the NEC…I did go to the NEC on Thursday, but Magnolia had sold out of Pirate Tilda!  Anyway, thanks to you both, I’m now well stocked with these sweet stamps…and lots more besides!

Tanja is our host over at Friday Sketchers this week and I love her sketch…not too complicated, but with some fun layers…thanks sweetie!  We’re  delighted to welcome the very talented Janneke and Inge to the Friday Sketchers team for three months.  They have both been such a wonderful inspiration to me since I started blogging and continue to amaze me with their gorgeous cards and projects.  Welcome to the team girls…fab to be able to work with you both

Before I go…I just like to say a huge thank you to Elaine (Quixotic Paperie) and Karen (Sugar Nellie) for giving me the opportunity to be on their design teams.  I’ve had a wonderful time and enjoyed every minute of it.  Now I’m going to catch up with life in general… and just do all those little things that have been slipping lately…unfortunately, blogging has a very bad habit of taking over your life if you let it.  Spring has arrived and I’m going to make the effort to go on some walks and take some photo’s with my new camera.  I’m still going to be making cards, posting regularly and still designing for FS and PBSC…I just need a bit of time and space to get everything back to normal.

Just for fun and for Just Magnolia who happen to have a great sketch challenge this week!  It’s been way too long since I used my Magnolia’s…I’d forgotten how easy and how much fun they are to colour!  Thanks to Claudia for stamping me the tulips.  I got some of the new Easter stamps yesterday…just need a few more to add to the collection!
