Just for fun and for Just Magnolia who happen to have a great sketch challenge this week!  It’s been way too long since I used my Magnolia’s…I’d forgotten how easy and how much fun they are to colour!  Thanks to Claudia for stamping me the tulips.  I got some of the new Easter stamps yesterday…just need a few more to add to the collection!

Stamp With Fun…

Shapes created with punches or dies is this weeks fun challenge at Stamp With Fun.  I used an oval nestie and did a bit of airbrushing around the edges and used the sketch from Just Magnolia.  I’ve also used the out of bounds technique again and cut out some more leaves for a 3d effect.  The new UK version of the MME Bloom and Grow papers are wonderful…love how the design is scaled down to fit a 6×6 card.  Hope you can join us over at Stamp With Fun, we have another great prize and some beautiful cards from the design team for you

Finally, I made it!  It’s been a rather mad weekend and strange few days here, but hopefully the week can only get better!  This is my Stamp With Fun card.  Bea has designed a wonderful sketch for SWF and also sponsored us with her shop, Megahobby…thanks for the challenge Bea!   Check out SWF, the DT have made some fabulous cards as always.

Stamp With Fun…

Time for a new challenge over at Stamp With Fun and this week we’d like to see DOTS on your card!  I’ve used the sketch created by my dear friend Bea for this card.  Bea posts a new sketch every two weeks on her blog and offers a prize from her shop Megahobby.  I’ve also combined this challenge with Just Magnolia, who’s theme this week is paper piecing……as you can see, Tilda has a polka dot, paper pieced dress on…very groovy!  Don’t forget to check out the DT cards over at Stamp With Fun, they are totally wonderful….as always!

The very sweet and super talented Rach has designed a wonderful sketch for Just Magnolia so I thought I’d finally ink up this cute Tilda with her puppy   I seem to be in a green phase at the moment but I’m lovin’ these new BG papers so much…like everyone else it seems!  I coloured, as always, with Copic Sketch Markers and I have just read on Claudia’s blog…where she has posted a picture…that there are 12 new Copic colours being released…pop over and have a look, the colours are fabulous!  Tilda has been cut out and mounted on the circle/bench with 3d tape.

Hi, I’m rather late posting my Stamp With Fun card today   Life just seems to be getting in the way of making cards at the moment…..hope things can get back to normal soon.  We have a wonderful sketch for you this week…with two shape options.  Pop over to the SWF blog to see the beautiful cards from the Design Team…we also have a fabulous prize to give away. 

Just Magnolia’s challenge this week is to include some stitching, faux or real…….so I think this might just qualify for that!

Finally had time to make this card for the Just Magnolia sketch challenge.  Not getting much chance to make cards at the moment, but I hope to catch up over the next few days.  It’s actually been quite nice having some days out and some time away from the computer….I feel quite refreshed now and my inspiration is coming back…….and, hopefully, after a visit to The Range tomorrow (thanks Marlene!), I’ll be stocked up with some new stash!

There’s a delicious colour combination over at Just Magnolia this week – Pink and Green…just happens to be one of my favourites   The new Magnolia collection really lends itself to these colours too…perfect for Butterfly Tilda   Sorry for the short post…..got some Hell’s Kitchen programmes to catch up on!

Fabulous Friend…

Hi, I’ve made today’s card for the ‘Old Magnolia’ challenge and for the Just Magnolia challenge.  I chose this Tilda for the OM challenge, but unfortuately, I have misunderstood a message, which was to postpone the challenge until next week…oh dear…I’ll blame it on the excitement of having my internet back on…..well, never mind, I think I’ll manage to pick another Tilda for next weeks challenge…certainly got plenty to choose from!

 I have to say, I think Tilda’s dress is really in vogue at the moment…three tier dresses/block band dresses are all in…my daughter has just bought one from Topshop….who would have thought that Tilda would be a trend setter!  Claudia, Bea and Jacqueline will be back next week with our old Magnolia challenge
