Guest Designer for Cute Card Thursday…

cct

I’m delighted to be a guest designer for Cute Card Thursday today…and next Thursday  :)    Their theme this week is ‘Buzz Off’…or the colour combination yellow and black!  As always, they have a super prize to give away and there are some fabulous cards from their design team.

I’ve used another girl from the Autumn 2009 Kit and mixed and matched some Stampin Up and Daisy Bucket papers.  The die used to cut the leaves was a gift from my friend Joan…..thanks so much Joan…you are so kind  :)

Old Magnolia…

I really can’t believe it’s Wednesday already and Old Magnolia day again!  Claudia has chosen barefoot Tilda for the challenge.  I wanted her to be looking at something rather nice so I first stamped Tilda, masked her and then stamped the waterfall scene from the new animal and pet collection.  Lots of hills and mountains to colour, as you can see…….this is quite a big stamp and definitely fills a 6×6 card with no problem at all.   Added lots of StarDust to the waterfall….much better IRL!

Cute Card Thursday’s theme this week is stitching…real or faux, so this fits in just perfectly for their challenge :D

Check out what Bea, Claudia and Jacqueline made with this stamp, and, if you want to join in with us, just leave a comment over on Old Magnolia…….hope to see you there!

This card also fits in with two other challenges…..the summer theme at Just Magnolia and also the tag theme over at Cute Card Thursday.

News about shipping costs to Europe over at Quixotic Paperie….

Friday Sketchers and Cute Card Thursday…

fsm2

Good Morning!  Today’s card is created with the lovely  Mumur’s sketch over at Friday Sketchers and it also fits in with the challenge over at Cute Card Thursday, which is ‘Getting Edgy’.   The Design Team have made some awesome cards for you, so do pop over to Friday Sketchers for some yummy eye candy.  Oh, and don’t forget to check out this weeks wonderful prize while you’re there!

My Magnolia stamps are still on order, so I used an image sent to me by a very special friend…and when I had finished colouring, I noticed a black dot in the middle of Tilda’s face.  I thought it must have been me at first, but when I checked the other images, they were all the same.  So, just make sure you check yours before you start colouring….and maybe try and cut away the extra dot, if you can

Delicious wishes for your birthday…

cherry-tilda

Hi, I’ve made this card for the challenge at Cute Card Thursday.  The theme is ‘Wine and Dine’.  So, with a food theme in mind, I used Cherry Tilda and  the new Magnolia cupcake…maybe the cherries could be turned into cherry brandy….then it passes for the wine too LOL!

I’ve had these SU papers since last summer and bought them to match Tilda’s dress :)   Coloured both images with copics, sizzlits leaf border die, all flowers, pearls and gems from stash.

Well, the weather has improved since the last time I wrote a post!  I’ve just noticed the green shoots coming through on the hedge….another hopeful sign that spring isn’t far away :)   I love it when the days are longer, means I can spend more time in my craft room in the daylight…roll on spring and summer!

Thanks so much for taking the time to stop by, enjoy the rest of the day!
