Quixotic Paperie 1st Anniversary Blog Hop…

Smiley from millan.net

Today is the 1st Anniversary of the Quixotic Paperie online store, and we’re having a celebratory blog hop!  If you’re already following the hop, you should have hopped over here from Simonne’s blog.  If not, then hop back to the beginning at the Quixotic Paperie Store Blog. You won’t want to miss a stop, as in addition to lots of fantastic inspiration, there are some prizes on offer (full details on the Quixotic Paperie Blog).

Quixotic Paperie was started on June 1st 2009 by Elaine Hughes.  Having been an avid crafter (and craft shopper!) for a number of years, Elaine wanted to share her passion and see where it might take her – so, Quixotic Paperie was born!  Since then, the store has grown, and now stocks a fabulous range of rubber stamps from around the world: The Greeting Farm, Kraftin’ Kimmie Stamps, SCACD Stamps, Paper Makeup Stamps, Belles ‘n Whistles, the Mo Manning for Stamping Bella range, Stempelglede and more!  In addition, the store carries a large range of charms and embellishments, and a host of gorgeous papers for all your crafty projects! If Elaine loves it, you will probably find it at Quixotic Paperie

In November 2009 the Quixotic Challenges blog was started, where you can find weekly inspiration from the wonderful Quixotic Paperie Design Team, and join in for the chance to win a monthly prize.

It has been a fabulous and wonderfully crafty year and here’s to another one and hopefully many more to follow!

I was honoured to be part of the Quixotic Paperie design team for a number of months and delighted when Elaine asked me to join in the QP 1st Anniversary hop.   Keep on buying that yummy stash Elaine…you’re doing a great job.  I hope QP continues to go from strength to strength.

Friday Sketchers…2nd Birthday Blog Hop…

Good Morning!  We are celebrating our 2nd birthday over at Friday Sketchers….and have a blog hop with some great candy  to give away from each design team member as well as from our sponsor, Digital Delights.

Here’s my card using the lovely Jacque’s sketch….thanks for a great challenge Jacque!

I’ve used some papers from Kaiser Craft, Cuttlebug alphabet dies and Hanglar stamps. A big thanks to my sweet friend Gunilla for the gorgeous card I received this week…you were my inspiration for the ‘hello’ sentiment…and the reason for me buying the Cuttlebug alphabet dies…I’ve absolutely no willpower at all…hehehe!

So, onto the blog hop.  You should have arrived here from the uber talented Inge’s blog…if you haven’t, you need to go back to the start of the blog hop which is Friday Sketchers.  To carry on the birthday bash, you need to visit  Tanja’s delightful blog and see what she has in store for you :)

My Friday Sketchers 2nd Birthday Celebration Candy…

To be eligible to win my candy, you need to make a card/project using Jacque’s sketch and enter it over at Friday Sketchers.  Once you have linked your card/project on your blog and on FS, please let me know by leaving me a comment under this post.  I will select my winner on Thursday evening (UK time)  from the participants linked via Mr Linky and announce the winner on my blog next Friday.

Have fun hopping…and have a great weekend.

Sugar Nellie Blog Hop…

Hello…and welcome to the Sugar Nellie Blog Hop!  I’m delighted to be taking part with all of the Design Team from Sugar Nellie.  If you’ve arrived here from the Sugar Nellie Blog, then you’re heading in the right direction!

We’ve all created something  using our favourite stamp from Sugar Nellie and we decided to showcase some of the ‘older’ stamps for a change.  Everyone has chosen a different stamp…so you’re in for some beautiful eye candy on your hop!

I’ve chosen Bumble Bee…one of the adorable Gorjuss Girls…

I’ve paper pieced her dress and given her a bit of sparkle on her wings and belt.  She really is ‘gorjuss’ and so easy to colour!

As I said before, everyone will be using a different Sugar Nellie stamp for the blog hop and Karen has very kindly said that she will give the stamp that the DT member has used, as the blog hop prize…thank you so much Karen :)

So…if you’d like to win this gorgeous Bumble Bee Stamp…just leave me a comment under this post.  The Blog Hop will be open until midnight GMT Sunday 21st February.  All winners will be announced on Monday 22nd February  over on the Sugar Nellie Blog.

And now…hop on over to Dena’s blog to see her Sugar Nellie darling :)
