Friday Sketchers and Cute Card Thursday…

fsm2

Good Morning!  Today’s card is created with the lovely  Mumur’s sketch over at Friday Sketchers and it also fits in with the challenge over at Cute Card Thursday, which is ‘Getting Edgy’.   The Design Team have made some awesome cards for you, so do pop over to Friday Sketchers for some yummy eye candy.  Oh, and don’t forget to check out this weeks wonderful prize while you’re there!

My Magnolia stamps are still on order, so I used an image sent to me by a very special friend…and when I had finished colouring, I noticed a black dot in the middle of Tilda’s face.  I thought it must have been me at first, but when I checked the other images, they were all the same.  So, just make sure you check yours before you start colouring….and maybe try and cut away the extra dot, if you can

Fabulous Friend…

om

Hi, I’ve made today’s card for the ‘Old Magnolia’ challenge and for the Just Magnolia challenge.  I chose this Tilda for the OM challenge, but unfortuately, I have misunderstood a message, which was to postpone the challenge until next week…oh dear…I’ll blame it on the excitement of having my internet back on…..well, never mind, I think I’ll manage to pick another Tilda for next weeks challenge…certainly got plenty to choose from!

I have to say, I think Tilda’s dress is really in vogue at the moment…three tier dresses/block band dresses are all in…my daughter has just bought one from Topshop….who would have thought that Tilda would be a trend setter!  Claudia, Bea and Jacqueline will be back next week with our old Magnolia challenge :D

Marlene is our guest this week at Stamp With Fun and I absolutely love her sketch……thank your Marlene :)   I haven’t had chance to check out the SWF blog yet, but I am sure that the design team have created some wonderful cards for your inspiration…just hop on over to check them out.

It’s sketch time over at Penny Black Saturday Challenge.   We had a wonderful response to our ‘gift’ themed challenge last week….thanks to everyone for joining in.   As always, the design team have created some super cards with Nat’s sketch, hope you’ll pop over to the PBSC blog and check them out……..along with our fab stamp set prize.

I hoped, by using these BG papers that I could come up with a more masculine card, but I still ended up adding some flowers.  Wow, these papers are so hard to work with, not sure I’ll be using them again in a hurry!  I think I’ll be digging out some old favourites instead.

tilda-cs1

Hello, back again today with my CBCJ Tilda…Bea has chosen Cross Stitch Tilda for us all today!  I had forgotten how large she was compared to some of the newer Tilda’s.  I’ve joined in the challenge at Double Dutch to make a tea bag holder.  It’s so quick and easy to make and could be filled with all kinds of yummy treats and they’re great for using up bits of paper.  I can see these becoming one of my favourites! It was also  a fabulous opportunity to use the tea pot and tea bag charms that I bought from Fran ages ago…I knew they’d come in useful one day!   Don’t forget to check out Bea’s, Claudia’s and Jacqueline’s (Jacqueline may post her Tilda later on)  blogs to see their Cross Stitch Tilda :)
